Now I have viewed 15 out of 63. And sometime, I’d like to see them all.

Initial, there was Redwood National Park, with its towering trees and black-sand beaches…

Then Indiana Dunes, with its sprawling sights of nuclear reactors…

Then Utah, house to some of the very best countrywide parks in the country: I visited Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion.

Right after Utah, I visited Mammoth Cave (Kentucky) and Sizzling Springs (Arkansas), on the way to Austin, which is wherever I reside now.

Then there was Significant Bend, Texas. The evening sky is outstanding there! You can see so quite a few stars.

And most not long ago, Glacier (Montana) and Grand Teton (Wyoming). Glacier Countrywide Park reminded me of Switzerland with its alpine valleys, purple wildflowers, and jagged mountains. I even noticed mountain goats.

I truly feel so blessed that I’ve gotten to see so considerably of our gorgeous state in the previous handful of several years.

When I was younger, I focused only on global vacation (this weblog is not identified as Ashley Abroad for nothin’). But more than the past two decades, I’m pleased to report that I’ve obtained a newfound appreciation for my have backyard.
