Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ has over 14 roller coasters and many other attractions to boot. This park, formerly known as The Enchanted Forest in the early 70’s, stays open from March to October, on Halloween. Since 1996, new coasters have been built regularly. There are also plenty of other rides and attractions for those who don’t care for roller coasters.
If you want to visit Six Flags Great Adventure, discount tickets are available online right now, and will be until October. During your stay, you’ll need to check out the Kingda Ka, Skyride, and Bizarro. Bizarro was originally known as the Medusa ride until it was renamed a few years ago. It’s by far one of the best rides in the country! It’s the world’s very first floorless coaster, and it’ll throw you through vertical loops, inversions, dive loops, and many interlocking corkscrews.
The Bizarro just recently received a makeover, and now features spooky fog, smoke, special effects, and illusions! Keep in mind that the line might be long, so be sure to arrive to the park early, if you can. This is the park’s most popular ride, and everyone will want a chance to check it out!
Kids will enjoy going on the Bugs Bunny Camp Carousel, which is a very colorful, fun ride that features Bugs and his pals. Meanwhile, at Bugs Bunny Fun Factory, kids can have a very exciting time blasting and bouncing around. It’s a safe, yet fun, interactive play area that youngsters really love. If you want to go on a ride with your child, then you need to check out Dorothy’s Racing to the Rainbow. It’s a mini, hot air balloon that will take you and your child 40 feet in the sky!
