SeaWorld Orlando Guide – Information About Tickets, Vacation Packages, Animals, and Rides

If you are planning an Orlando vacation, there is one place you don’t want to miss out on: SeaWorld. This theme park and oceanarium combo is the reason why Central Florida is a top destination for tourists these days. A lot of people even prefer SeaWorld Orlando over Disney and Universal Studios!

Florida residents themselves regularly flock to the park/oceanarium since it offers a lot of entertainment at a low price. It can also be an educational experience for those interested in marine animal life.

Whether you’re a resident of FL or plan on visiting the Orlando area sometime this year, you can order your tickets online. You might be interested in a seasonal pass since it will give you unlimited visits at no extra cost. A fun pass is a bit cheaper, but it doesn’t include the perks such as free parking.

A combo ticket will give you the chance to experience SeaWorld as well as the water park Aquatica or Adventure Island.

If you’re not a resident of FL, you can look into the vacation packages. Many of the hotels and resorts in the area offer all-inclusive vacation packages which include tickets to the park.

Once you are at SeaWorld Orlando, there is no shortage of fun and enjoyable activities you will find. You can visit one of the animal areas such as the Penguin Encounter and Manatee Rescue if you are interested in learning more about them. Even though the weather in FL is mostly hot, there is still an icy habitat at the park for the penguins to live in. You can learn about the various species of penguins and birds such as alcids and puffins.

As for the Manatee Rescue area, you can learn about the rescue process for these endangered creatures. They are brought to the park and rehabilitated until they are well enough to be released back into sea.

If it’s the rides you’re interested in, you might want to head to the Kraken. This is a floorless coaster that will take you up 150 feet. It takes nearly four minutes, from start to finish. You’ll drop at a speed of 60 or so miles per hour.

Another fun coaster is the Manta. On this coaster, riders face downwards in a horizontal seating. As it flies over a lagoon, you will get some gorgeous views of the water below. It has a maximum drop of more than 100 feet.

These are just a few suggestions of things you might be interested in at SeaWorld Orlando. There are many other activities you might want to check out, ranging from shows to shopping! It’s no wonder why this is one of the most popular parks in not only the state, but the entire country.
