Builders will split floor for foundations at a $19 million Hampton Inn & Suites in Hyde Park later on this month.
Options are to open up the 103-place resort at 2680 Madison Road in August 2023, Michael Doty, vice president of building and development for Brandicorp, reported in an electronic mail.
The Bellevue, Kentucky, business is partnering with the Lexington Hotel Team of West Chester Township to establish the resort at the former web site of the Pig & Whistle sports pub in the vicinity of Zumstein Avenue. It’s just south of the Rookwood Commons & Pavilion in neighboring Norwood.

Hyde Park neighbors had been unhappy about previous advancement proposals
“We see this space as a fantastic spot for hospitality. It is complementary to the neighboring uses and will present a position for residents of Hyde Park to keep their quest and families shut when touring,” Doty mentioned.
“This current market has confirmed by itself as we have seen in our Rookwood motels down the road and the demand from customers is obvious.”
Before Brandicorp and the Lexington Hotel Group agreed to build the property, it was the centerpiece of a much-criticized and frequently revised blended-use plan the Money Expenditure Group of Downtown Cincinnati tried using to create for years.
The Hyde Park Community Council has endorsed the new lodge strategy, which includes an indoor pool, exercising facility and meeting rooms.
The hotel will website link to the Wasson Way bicycle trail and make 17 entire-time careers, Doty stated.
