The turnout on Saturday for the Kyle Petty Charity Journey Across America was far more than the previous NASCAR racer predicted. Followers and supporters came out to the Hampton Inn to fulfill Petty and see the parade of motorcycles that accompanied him during his charity journey.
The occasion is held to raise dollars to send youngsters who have critical or continual healthcare ailments to Petty’s summertime camp, Victory Junction, which is based mostly in North Carolina.
