Mara Serena Lodge in Masai mara is built on a high ridge styled like a modern Masai village. Each room has a panoramic outlook over the Masai Mara National Reserve. Even the swimming pool, a blessing on a hot African day, offers an uninterrupted view of the rolling Savannah. Here the plains teem with game, gazelle, wildebeest, zebras, elephants, cheetah, leopard and the famous black maned lion – not to mention the 450 varieties of birds.

Mara Sopa Lodge

Set in the Oloolaimutia valley the lodge blends in perfectly with its surrounding hillside landscape. The accent here is on the Masai people and the fabulous wealth of wildlife, birdlife, and natural flora to be found in the fabled Masai Mara Game reserve the lodge is located 206 km south of the Equator on the eastern boundary of the Masai Mara Game Reserve in south-western Kenya, 2km from the Oloolaimutia Gate. The Reserve, the best known game area in East Africa, is 1,120 sq. kms of prime wildlife-viewing territory bordering on the Serengeti National park the lodge has an altitude of 2,104 meters (6,400 feet) above sea level and, because of the cool breezes through the valley it is sited in, enjoys warm days and cool evenings. The April / June, October / November rainy seasons ensure that the Reserve is verdant almost throughout the year. Only the lightest of clothes are recommended although a light sweater might be needed for early mornings and evenings. More formal attire might be advisable for cocktails and theme evenings while swim wear is a must by the pool

The lodge has 200 beds by way of 77 rooms, 12 suites and 1 Presidential suite, all of which are ‘rondavel’ style and have en-suite bathroom facilities which provide shaving sockets and hairdryers. Every room and suite has a private, elevated veranda with splendid views across the valley and on which guests can relax, sunbathe and watch resident birds and wildlife. Mini-bars are also available in each room The lodge has direct-dial telephone facilities as well as satellite television and video options.Lodge generators provide 240volts, 50 cycles 24 hours a day. The water supply comes from nearby springs but guests are advised not to drink from the taps. Instead, filtered water is provided in flasks in every room and bottled water is available for sale. Kids of all ages are welcome and both special meals at convenient times and baby sitters can be provided on request. The lodge has a free form, fresh-water pool which offers spectacular views over the valley.

Mara Simba Lodge

Mara Simba Lodge lies in the banks of Talek River. The lodge designed with imagination and built with traditional materials. It nestles unobtrusively into the landscape, while both the main building and the rooms overlook the river where crocodiles and hippo can be seen.The rooms have en-suite facilities with private verandas overlooking the river. Evening is marked by entertainment around the fireplace with traditional songs, dances, slide shows and lectures.
