Groundbreaking for John and Carolyn Sonnentag Fieldhouse and Event Center
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – Following 8 years and a couple setbacks, shovels at last hit the dust at the web page of the John and Carolyn Sonnentag Fieldhouse and Party Center Monday early morning.
John and Carolyn Sonnentag, who donated $70 million dollars to the challenge, joined UW-Eau Claire Chancellor Jim Schmidt and several much more for a ceremonial groundbreaking that will opportunity the experience of Eau Claire when it opens in the spring of 2024.
