Sunday: ANCHORAGE

On Sunday you can go to the beautiful Turnagain Arm, this is the land of beauty where mountains seem to rise out of the sea. Here one can also see bald eagles, Dall sheep and beluga whales. From here you can pay a visit to the Chugach National Forest and book your boat for a CRUISE to take a glimpse the face of Portage Glacier. Here you will be assisted with The National Forest Service interpreter who will give you all information and explain the wonder of the glaciers. The afternoon and evening can be utilized for the independent activities, like walking on the Coastal Trail, visiting the art museum, shopping downtown and the Alaska Native Heritage Center.

Mon. ANCHORAGE-FAIRBANKS.

Matanuska Valley is a great attraction in the northeast, this lush green region has large farming area where cabbages are grow. The attractive Tahnita Pass with stunning vistas of Matanuska Glacier gives a spectacular view. The largest park of United States of America the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve has many striking features. The Trans-Alaskan Pipeline boasts of glaciers which are larger than the island of Manhattan, this is the home to 9 out of the 16 highest peaks in North America. We can also see the most spectacular scenery on the way. In the Alaska roadhouse, you can listen to the old tales of Alaska.

Tue. FAIRBANKS.

In the morning you can take cruise down the Tanana and Chena Rivers. You must take a break at recreated Athabascan Indian village which will fetch you with details about the historical way of life in Alaska. Afternoon and evening must be used to rest and for spending some time in leisure activities.

Wed. FAIRBANKS-DENALI NATIONAL PARK.

Take a train for DENALI NATIONAL PARK from Fairbanks. Some independent activities can be done in the afternoon and evening as this time is free. Here one can go to the park, can attend any of the national park programs, Mount McKinley flight seeing, white-water rafting, helicopter landing on the glacier, or the Denali Dinner Theatre.

Thu. DENALI NATIONAL PARK

You can perform some set of activities like river rafting, fixed-wing flightseeing or helicopter and hiking.

Fri. DENALI-ANCHORAGE

Go to DITAROD DOGSLED VISITOR CENTER to get knowledge about the epic race. This tour comes to an end at the Anchorage airport.
